Ideas swirl and crackle. Bright colours fizz and sparkle, belly laughs explode and fireworks rocket into the imagination. Inside the hat are ideas, plans and potions that with a little magic add up to great cartoons and family television.
Wizard Hat is a fresh new entertainment company started by seasoned executives Pamela Slavin, Toni Stevens and William Fox. This experienced team has been internationally recognized with BAFTA awards, Emmy nominations, Gemini's, ACT, CFTPA and Parent's Choice awards. Our mission is to create entertainment that we are proud to watch with our families and friends. It has been our good fortune to work with some of the world's most respected broadcasters, co-producers and creative teams.
And we really like it when young adults come and tell us they loved our cartoons when they were seven years old.
Really, we do.
Pamela Slavin is the kind of Wizard who will do anything for a laugh. Her guidance counselor strongly suggested cartoons might be a safer way to channel this “gift”. For the last twenty years, Pamela has had the chance to work on some cherished childrens' series and specials.
Some of Pamela's writing and producing credits include Johnny Test (Teletoon/Cartoon Network), Rolie Polie Olie (Disney Channel/CBC), Little Bear (CBC/Nick Jr.), Arthur (PBS/BBC/TVO), Berenstain Bears (Treehouse), World of Quest (Teletoon/KidsWB), Tales from the Cryptkeeper (ABC), The Neverending Story (Teletoon/HBO), Max and Ruby (Treehouse/Nick Jr.), Busytown Mysteries (CBC),
Will and Dewitt (YTV), Donkey Kong Country (Teletoon).
Pamela has also had the privilege of lending a hand to friends on shows like Stella and Sam, Atomic Betty, Harry and his Bucketful of Dinosaurs, and RoboRoach & Reg.
Pam always wanted to be part of a place like Wizard Hat where creative people could gather to inspire each other, bring some great ideas to life on screen, and wash out their own dirty coffee mugs at the end of the day because their mother doesn't work there.

Toni is equal parts Business Wizard and People Wizard. Everyone loves Toni. She has worked with some of the world's most talented artists, actors and stuffed puppets. As comfortable in live-action as she is in animation Toni has produced award winning television series and specials, features and documentaries, as well as factual series and lifestyle programming.
One of Toni's first jobs involved chasing Peter O'Toole out of his trailer with a frying pan. Since then, Toni's credits include Arthur (PBS/TVO), Johnny Test (Teletoon/Cartoon Network), Storytime with Thomas the Tank Engine (Fox Kids), Virtual Mom (CBC/Nickelodeon), Gotta Catch Santa (Teletoon/Cartoon Network), Will and Dewitt (Kids WB, YTV), Eckart (Teletoon), Caillou (TVO/PBS), What Katy Did (CBC/ITV), and Gerald McBoing-Boing (Cartoon Network/ Teletoon).
